Title: HR Generalist

Location: USA – Remote


• Take ownership of the global Onboarding/Offboarding process, working with the HR Interns to facilitate documented procedures.  Including, but not limited to the following:
– Review/audit documents and new hire information when uploaded from Greenhouse
– Initiate and follow-up on background checks
– Proof CEO welcome letters before sending to new hires
– Facilitate distribution of new hire swag
– Review/audit ELM termination tickets before updated BambooHR
– Facilitate weekly onboarding/termination call
• Send out invitations and present weekly new hire orientation to US and Canada employees
• Collect and review I9 information for new hires and enter into eVerify
• Process US unemployment claims
• Assist with US Workers’ Comp claims
• Run ongoing audits of Bamboo HR against payroll and benefits
• Perform backup coverage for HR Helpdesk.
• Draft employment verification letters at employee request
• HR Newsletter, assistant editor
• On-going projects, as needed


• Must be detail-oriented with a strong eye for accurate data
• Demonstrate complete discretion and confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills – must be articulate and professional, communicating in a clear, positive fashion
• Ability to apply company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
• Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of factors
• Exercise good judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
• Build productive internal/external working relationships
• Work independently as well as being a team player
• Work closely with internal team and external stakeholders
• Proven ability to work in a VERY fast-paced environment that constantly changes

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
• Proficient in Excel and excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of HR terms and best practices
