Job Description

We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), where you work in partnership with our organization’s business leaders to develop an HR Strategy and run the operation of HR activities in line with business goals and the corporate HR framework. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. You will also manage regional/corporate HR-related projects.

Your role will be to challenge, coach and influence leaders on business and people issues.  The HRBP acts as a steward of the organization’s culture by demonstrating and promoting the Axis Core Values.

The HRBP is part of the Axis global “One HR” team.  You will collaborate with colleagues from around the world to develop strategies, share best practices, and solve problems together.

What you will do…

• Be responsible for HR initiatives from a strategic and operational perspective.  These initiatives may include the following:
  • Workforce planning
  • Organizational change
  • Performance management
  • Coaching
  • Succession planning and competence/leadership development
  • Recruiting and retention
  • Learning and development
• Support and train managers on employment law requirements and ensure appropriate guidelines are followed
• Manage compensation and benefit-related questions as well as the annual review and salary increase process
• Participate in and/or manage one or more HR-related projects
• Promote diversity awareness
• Act as the bearer of our company culture

What we are looking for…

• Bachelor’s degree required. SHRM or similar HR certification a plus.  A minimum of 5 years’ experience in at least two of the areas below:
  • Recruiting
  • Learning and development
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Performance management
  • Employment law
  • Organizational Development
  • Compliance

Additional skills and experience:

• Strong business acumen and experience prioritize tasks and projects to move the business forward

• Self-confidence that is balanced with empathy and the ability to influence in professional and constructive manner
• Experience building credible and trusted relationships with diverse customers
• Excellent computer skills in MS Office
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive matters with discretion, integrity and tact
• Experience working collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills
• Excellent MS Office skills

Salary (dependent on location, experience, and education): $85,000-$100,000

Physical Demands

Employee is occasionally required to lift 20-25 lbs. Travel up to 20% annually locally and internationally.
