At Aras, the Human Resource Specialist plays an important role within the HR Team, focusing on Talent Acquisition, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the entire hiring process, for both candidates and hiring managers.  In addition, this role will work closely with the HR team on special projects that involve talent – such as on-boarding, learning & development, system administration, engagement, and other employee-focused initiatives.  This is a great role for someone who wants to grow and get involved in multiple areas of HR, with the primary responsibility being recruitment.

Main Activities:

  • Review job applications and conduct technical interviews to screen the talent
  • Prepare offer letters, run background checks, and check references on candidates
  • Maintain the ATS and keep it up to date – providing reports as requested to senior management
  • Onboard new employees and conduct orientations
  • Work with the global talent acquisition team in building best practices and proposing new processes to increase efficiency and improve the candidate experience.
  • Assist in hosting and setting up candidates for success on the day of onsite and video interviews
  • Represent and share the Aras culture and brand, throughout entire interview process
  • Attend Aras talent acquisition events, as necessary
  • Work with complex and shifting calendars across multiple time zones and facilitate any schedule changes.
  • Support the HR team in talent-based initiatives such as engagement, onboarding, and DEI campaigns.


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, business administration, or relevant fields
  • 2 years of proven experience as an entry-level HR recruiter
  • 1 year of experience as an HR specialist or a junior role
  • Good understanding the role of Talent Acquisition and the Human Resources function
  • Ability to work in a fast growing and dynamic environment and willing to get into the details to ensure success
  • Proven dedication to follow-through and delivering results
  • High attention to detail; stellar time management and organization skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and problem solve independently without sacrificing quality of work
  • Proven success in communicating effectively and building strong, trusted relationships within diverse groups
  • Fluency in LinkedIn Recruiter, Bamboo, Outlook, and ability to learn other tools quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Complete know-how of MS office suite
  • Good organizational skills
  • Positive attitude towards challenges and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to securely handle employee records
  • A can-do, team mentality — no task is too small and you’re willing to jump in when needed!

  • Prior experience in a fast growth environment, particularly in technology and engineering
  • Strong understanding of Talent Acquisition best practices and processes, as well as basic Marketing principles
  • Good understanding of HR software
